Player Pathways
Our Player Pathway
In House League
During the 2023-2024 season, we had six teams per age group with every team playing each other twice throughout the regular season. We progressed to the final 4 teams in the playoffs and Muswell Hill Under 12s and Waltham Cross Under 16s won the Championship.
The league is run like any other league. Every player must register to play and you represent the local you train from. Once you are registered in the league, you take part in the matches when scheduled and you must be able to commit to your team.
Local League
Our local league teams represent the club against other clubs. Therefore, expectations are more demanding than playing in our In-House League. We expect every player/team to perform to the best of their ability every week. We require absolute full commitment to the team, available for training/games, work hard in training, respect your coaches, teammates, and parents. Each team will have their own goals set for the season.
Talk about our local league teams here. What did they achieve last season? Last season, we had 3 teams from different age groups representing the club in the London Community Basketball League (CBL) All three teams had amazing success. Under 12s, 14s, and 16s boys all made it to the finals. Under 16s won the finals and were crowned league champions.H
ow many teams do we have for the upcoming season? In season 2024-2025, we will have 5 teams representing the club in the CBL/WCBL division 1 & 2
National League
We aim to have National League Teams in season 2025-2026 NBL. Our club developing in the right direction to be able to achieve this. However, We have sent a lot of players to other clubs who had very strong National League teams. We never hold players back. Providing players with opportunities to gain more experience and knowledge is a passion for us at Cruz.
